The Tale of Teakwood

It all started in 1963 in a small 10*10 room which has now transformed into a big manufacturing unit. Launched by two young brothers and currently managed by their sons. We were very keen on choosing unique and quality teakwood that lasts for decades so after much research we came up with one of the finest and most durable woods on earth, which is nothing but the Burma teakwood

We as a crew focused only on making furnitures in Burma teak wood and never let other wood varieties enter our site. The finesse and the pronounced quality of our products speaks beyond generations. The standard of our products fetched 1000+ customers in a short span of time even without brand promotion. As days passed, the demand for Burma teak wood started increasing and the origin country had planned to stop exporting. It was again when the company had to search for an alternative wood with the same quality and durability. One fine day, we came across Benin teak wood with exact same features as Burma teak wood in Benin country. The Benin teakwood underwent a lot of inspection for its oil content, appearance, water content, grain patterns, and so on, then finally we came to a conclusion that Benin teak is no less than Burma teak in all its unique characters. The woods were enriched with natural oils that gave a leather-like smell, ravishing grain patterns and everything was just perfect and precise to make wooden furniture out of it. By choosing Benin teak wood we overcame the biggest problem which the company was about to face, in addition, we also made sure that our manufacturing unit travels again with the same vision, but this time even more stronger, tightly held on to its core value of manufacturing products out of premium quality teakwood

A piece of wood turns into a piece of art

01

Choosing the right quality wood

We begin with selecting prime quality wood after thorough inspection by our wood specialists.
02

Chopping the woods

We cut the logs based on the sizes required and it is one of the most tiring processes which require enormous manpower to complete the work, sometimes even massive machines may break down not be able to bear the Benin teak wood density.
03

Seasoning the wood

The woods cut are rich in moisture content so this has to be reduced to 12% to craft furniture that lasts for decades. The seasoning plant is maintained at 60 to 70°C Consecutively for 7 days with the help of heavy-duty fans that circulate hot air throughout the chamber. This is one of the crucial steps that determines the quality of the furniture so cautious monitoring day and night for 7 days is what it all costs for bringing out the longevity of wood. Even a minute error or reduction of moisture content of less than 12% would ruin all the woods leading to twisting, bending, and cracking.
04

Carpentry work

It takes several days for our craftsmen to master the perfection of the furniture. Teak wood products demand time for making and we wait patiently and work passionately throughout the process to come up with a fine look. Every month our craftsmen are educated about the art of excelling in the craftwork to take our product range one step higher and also to have a good rapport among the crew members.
05

Polish to embrace the teak

Four coats of proper staining with adequate time given before each coat for thorough drying is required for emphasizing the extraordinary pattern of grains in the wood. We use a polish gun imported from the UK and all polishing stains were directly imported from manufacturers to make sure, it is of supreme quality.
